The last Kotoba update was Nin Zashi on the 6 June 2016.
Since then there where over 16 different releases.
Sap hearth and Desert Nomade had both 4.

It is really sad ...
I only want some Kotoba love.

I think they are interesting in combination with cursed items and other weapon/equipments.
You could use as 3 character.
Maybe not a top tier deck but it looks like fun.

I think the event was bad designed and there was a very easy solution for this.

Put in 3 mission that you have to kill each boss 30 times to get the materials.
And every win against a boss gives 10 gold.
This randomness is unnecessary and not fun.

I don't understand why people try to defend ...

Craftsman with port works well against all 3.

you can do any of the missions with only two of each note... and alot of time

Or you could play Shengdi level 3 with 6 note cards in your deck.
You will always draw what you need and run never out of ...
