Ahhh, ok, I did not know that .... I thought I was wrong since it was something that we had not seen published.

On the multi-accounts, it was something that came to come, in a similar contest in the arena, happened that, added many friends in the group, just to vote .... I guess for the amount of Votes (and speed as you get high numbers), not only are there Multi-accounts, but also players who never went through the forum, and will never do so because they are not interested in participating / seeing the forum, just moved to Help friends .... therefore as in that other contest, the most popular / which has more Friends, would have more probabilities of fighting at the tip, leaving less priority to be decided by character quality / preference of players .


Good luck to the participants, and I hope there are no more attempts to cheat.

I hope they are excluded from this contest those using multiple accounts, there are some who takes votes, opening the address book by sending spam into play

Well, as anywhere else, if players are allowed to vote, then only the number of your friends count :/ sad thing, but true..
This is why i prefered much more the old contests, where the staff decided.
Then there was no chance to use multiaccounting, and you did not have to ask your friends to be competitive :/
Personally i know that at least 60% of my votes came from my friends and clanmates...
This is the situation right now hopefully the next contest's setup will be a bit different.

What I would like is that the characters who have more votes put them in the game, it costs them nothing, as long as they were not so abusive of course.

definitely at least half of the votes that come to us are friends (I mean for all of us 20)

I figured I had no hope winning the community vote so I didn't even bother asking my friends on this one haha (don't get me wrong, I'm already pretty pleased to be among the top 20). I admit I voted for myself though, but that's still a well-earned 2 votes.

A suggestion to partially bypass this issue while keeping the community vote might be to have a Staff pick and a Community pick, but this would imply having 2 winners, which might only be a minor issue.

Also as an afterthought, having the card's description directly in english instead of french might have helped a tad, idk how this would impact the chance of earning a vote.
