Just be cause you released a counter for damage reduction in an earlier card release (), doesn't mean you can now go overboard when creating damage reducing cards.

I think your bias is clouding the point I am trying to say. Nevertheless someone already pointed out that classes means **** to feerik nowadays.

I approve this Kotoba update

So after playing the cards for a while:
: Admitted, it IS a powerful card but it doesn't guarantee you a win. I think there are a lot more powerful cards out there, for example the card that doesn't let your character get any combat damage that turn at all. Advantage with this card here is it also includes magic damage.
: Priceless. Better than e.g. since it activates instantly and adds some magic defense.
: I don't get the fuss about this card. It seems more powerful than it is. Unless your opponent discards one of your weapons every turn and you have in battle this card can be used efficiently in late game only. I mean, you have other cards in your deck and hand than only swords and it counts for one character only.
: Great character. I love him. His ability can backfire on you though and discard a sword you wanted to keep on field for a new one.
: Very good damage increase. Only disadvantage you cannot pick the newly equipped character, so this card can backfire by discarding one of your swords for another one, this triggering Asajiro which can backfire again in the same way.
: Never used it. Doesn't really seem to fit in a warrior deck, but for the Kotoba decks that cannot use the traditional warrior armors it might be a nice addition.
: Didn't use it yet, cause it seems you cannot pick the item which is discarded. Since I don't exclusively use swords as items this card is too dangerous to use in my deck. I would use instead if defense lowering is needed.

All in all it was a very nice update and it helped me to score an ELO higher than 1600 in amnezy with my Kotoba warriors.
