Yeah, I'm probably going to avoid tournaments like the plague until this gets banned like Althing was.

Is clumsiness really that expensive? Was pretty sure almost all playstyles had counters to permanent items and the ones that didn't could spend a turn turtling.

No, you are absolutely right in that most, if not all, decks have a counter to permanent items. My perception is just a little skewed since I main WitchBlades and it is almost impossible to ever hit less than 10 even without playing cards, and to spend a turn gambling that they play often leads to giving them an extra turn anyway and losing too much damage to recover from (not to mention actually having the counter in hand at the time).

So yeah, I'm just a whiny marauder player upset that they released a card that hard counters my mindless playstyle so easily. It still seems a bit overpowered (so long as you know when to use it), and I wish it didn't activate the turn you play it.

Perhaps this will slow down the meta though and make more decks viable which would be pretty cool. I'll just keep farming crystals in the meantime!

This card is way better than the banned card

Since the weaker (although still OP is banned) so need to be banned, too.

It is way too OP and destroys fair play in the tournament.

Well i come from the warrior front.....well its not muc hbetter there either, you have your 20/20 iro and yeah, theres NO WAY to deal less than 10 dmg.
The enemy survives(so free permanent althign you might not be able to remove)
But wait, theres more, 2 of my cards are gone now too.
And even IF you predikt it, the enemy is still keeping his hp, no a text like "the char dies when its removed", no he regaisn his stats and you have to power through theyr stats again.
Oh yeah, and you needed to play a card that can discards so you have played no dmg card.
And the worst part is stign theyrdef and spirit to 0 is doing them even a fawor.
So this Card has NO drawback, not a single one.
Just to good impossible to play around and overall a MUCH better althing.

dunno... i m playing several different styles and i HAVE seen matches where i regretted to have used the shield... it has drawbacks... namely dont receive the 10 damage and you are dead... against crows this happens easily ... they pull cards and cards and in the end comes this damage preventing card which makes you die

also sometimes you use it on a certain char and then die from out of combat damage...

and lastly like all decks... even iro the legend can easily discard cards nowadays so just use them and adjust your gameplay a bit... the last barrier is troublesome but not a gamebreaker (in my humble point of view)

Yeah, well true that there are ways to play around it, like kill outfight or discard it.
But then you got the benefit of surviving 1 turn.
If he was killed outfight then hey, he survived 1 turn longer then he would normaly and you had your althign effekt.
Now yo need to use further resources to remove it.

from now on the people than use this cards are cowards this card requires no tactics what so every this card needs to be nerf get rid of the def and spirit=0 because this card is so super op

Well, let's say it is our own "Sommer of Black" or "J., the Mindsculpter".... Or would Trichula be more fitting.

Oh, I forgot to mention the power 9 from mtg. ^^

In the end it comes down to your personal mindset.
I don't give a f@€%, 'cause history has shown us, that other card game developers also screwed up at some point.

what did you mean with no tactis? is it easier pull than any other op card/deck out there? i found a lot of skilless decks before this card and of course it will be worse in future
