Story Time:
A silver form slipped between two groves, leaving as it passed by the prickly leaves a small tuft of hair. The silver fox sniffing the air frantically searching for a peculiar smell, then after traveling several circles with his nose in the air; he finally caught the scent of his mistress. He raised one ear and then his other and suddenly ran back along the fragrant trail. A jump over a small rock, another on top of a branch, a few detours through the trees and finally appeared the one he was looking for several days. Theya stood near a small fire where wet wood gave off much more smoke then what was burning. Fortunately, within the area no one lived apart from the deer, wild boar, and other birds. The Equinoxienne was shivering while trying to warm up, cursing this world she hated more than anything. When she heard the branches creak she looked up and saw a ball of fur rush for her. The animal was really happy to see his mistress and was wriggling in all directions. (

Moon Guardian)
“You found me,” said Theya overran by joy. “You're as dirty as the humans of this world, but I'm so glad that we are together. When I saw you stabbed during the confrontation with those savages dressed in purple and black, I thought we should never meet again. Our mission is a failure, we need to go back home and I'll be able to find alternative sources of Equinoxienne magic. (
Interception)
The fox continued to celebrate for a few minutes, during which time Theya continued working on her ideas, she then formalized them by drawing a pattern on the floor.
“Yes, it can work! If I ever manage to accumulate enough power, I can get in touch with the forces of the Empress.”
We could know when another door of Infinity will be opened. Come here! The fox stopped running in all the directions and stood before her, nodding. Then something strange happened to him. Anyone outside the scene would have seen where someone scratched the muzzle of the canine, but in reality Theya used her powers to improve perceptions of her little companion. It eyes shone a purple glow.
“I see through your eyes... yes... there are sources of Equinoxienne magic. Let us not delay my friend, I cannot handle this world anymore, lead me to it.”
The animal began to walk by taking a northerly direction which would lead to the border Baranthe and much farther to Draconia. But the duo did not go very far. After just an hour of walking things were about to get even worse for them...
A few days before that at the Castle of Kaes:
“You wanted to see me, Councilor?”
“Ha! Councilor Doyen Verace! Yes, do enter.” (
Doyen Verace-Councilor)
The man wearing the livery of the Council of Guilds gently closed the door behind him as he went into the office of
Chantelain, which was weighed down with scrolls. Doyen's face expressed extreme tiredness and a palpable anxiety. Verace settled in one of the two chairs facing Chantelain, then he examined it and the environment which had several food trays with the remains of food still in them, piles of dirty clothes and a sofa on which with a cover on it. Everything indicated that the Councilor had not left his office for some time.
“Are you aware of any matters concerning the "Equinox"?” Chantelain asked scratching his cheek, which itched because of his beard.
“Of course it is our priority, so I'm dealing with it very diligently.”
“I have gathered here various reports from the guilds as well as comments made by our internal forces on this subject. So far we have counted three Equinoxiens...”
But Verace cut in.
“The Stranger is currently in the hands of the Admiral Al Killicrew, another Equinoxien disappeared into the ruins of Caislean and finally an Equinoxienne who was abducted for a time by the Equinoxien that disappeared. We have not heard from her since.” (

“Up until yesterday that was true. But I received a report from one of my men, if you know what I mean.”
“I understand perfectly, tell me.”
“She is in Baranthe, she is in a forest and is living there as a recluse.”
“How did you find her?”
“We had lost track of her, this was not the case for her silver fox.”
“Silver Fox?”
“Yes, it's a small detail which appeared in several reports; we put a flea in his ear. It seems that Equinoxienne is accompanied by the fox, but during the offensive of the Zil they were separated. I launched my men to find her and eventually they found him, and then tracked it.”
“Congratulations, counselor Chantelain. We order her capture.”
“I was planning on taking care of it in person myself. Baranthe is not far from here. And if she resists?” Verace thought for a moment and said:
“If she resists ... kill her.”
“Very well. Thank you for coming Councillor-Doyen, I'm on my way, I'll see you when I return.”
It was dark, but Theya did not care much, because the Equinoxiens, were not much affected by the darkness in their world, because the light was not as intense here in the land of Guem. The fox progressed slowly but surely, focusing on the target, a magic on the horizon of Equinox. Neither he nor his mistress saw the shapes were moving silently around them. A dozen Mystic Slayers had moved with Chantelain, the ruler of their organization. Their targets were there, the plan was established... Chantelain had not had much opportunity to wear the attributes of the organization as he would take care of the Equinoxienne personally. As for the silver fox, his fate was sealed. A
master-mystic slayer drew one of his strange pistols, pointed the barrel toward the animal and pressed. The projectile was propelled at high speed hit the head of the beast which was found a few meters away. He did not survive the injury. Theya tried to grab his mask to prepare for battle. But the balance of power was not in her favour. What could she do to deal with these men and women whose entire life was devoted to death? The honor was left to Chantelain who was holding
Ebohki's Blade, a formidable weapon. With amazing speed he jumped on the Equinoxienne deeply plunged the blade between two ribs, pierced the heart causing it to stop and then withdrew to seal the fate of Equinoxienne. She stood to the side and realized that her heart had stopped beating, death would prevail, she had failed, she fell...
Chantelain and the other Mystic Slayers surrounded him and found that both their targets were very dead.
“Fast and efficient as always my friends. I will declare the Equinoxienne had deployed too much power and she was a threat, so we had to eliminate the target.”
“Mystic Slayer does not take prisoners” all
the Mystic Slayers said to their hearts before they disappeared into the night.
Will the pirates run into the Survivor while looting the ruins?
Did Doyen know who he was sending when he sent Chantelain after Theya?
Find out at a later date. And seriously I couldn't think of any good question this time around.
