that is the shorcut to fix it, but it sucks purchasing 100k cards and lose 50k each or more due bad decision i didnt do, same when cards are nerfed (destroyed)

in discussions was pointed the same top players are leading the tournament, that is because loads system isnt useful for the concept of standard, for veteran players this is even an unfair advantage

Well but sadly nerfs and balance changes need to happen.
There were many to opowerful lcards released and new cards dont come even close to contesting the already existing ones(excluding chars).
And due to the fact that no more actions spells and theuregies are printed this wont really change.

I think it's fine as it is right now.

- rare characters should be counted as one of the five because it suppose to be stronger than non-rare character. (if not, it's just a junk rare, let's ignore it.)

- about common or uncommon, if it's really OP, many players will use it so the load will be very high (like clumsiness). Those flawseeker cards are the same too, if it's really good, many players will use them. The load will rise to be high enough to be unable to play within 1-2 week.

Though I think 500 load is too easy to make a deck right now.
My deck I use to stay in top 5 this week, its load is just 411.

While this is in no way a 100% perfect fix I greatly believe this to be an excellent step in the right direction. I quite frankly find most negative comments here to be jaded and cynical. I understand why because it's still not a perfect fix. no the top names may remain the top names whether its through legitimate means or under the radar tomfoolery (I.E. multi accounts) but what this update does is provide hope. Before there was none. i say give it some time and let the kinks get worked out. Hell we played this game when it had zero recourse for people who didn't throw tons of dollars at it. I think we can tolerate a few weeks. the important thing is Feerik opted to pay attention to our concerns.

We'll probably find that most decks will survive more than the first loading and only lose a couple of cards that no longer fit unless pretty much everyone plays a variant of that deck... Should mean more variety than just 2 "Power Decks" and their Counter-Deck every Tournament...

Specifically, Non-Char Rares are less likely to be loaded into oblivion after each week...

Exept when you play Zil und need around 9-12 rare cards + 1 rare character to run a competitive deck ... (this counts for dagger, dd, priests and pack is dead anyway) All Zil deck (also priests) are killed with the rare-restriction. If you are so optimistic, then try to build a competitive zil deck. I just want to play my favourite guild in Quilingo and Lucyan without being permanent loser.

Just show me 1 Zil deck, that is competitive in Quilingo now.


Wow ... most of my Zil decks breaks the 500-line, even if they also often lose the game.

3 toughs about it:
- expensive uncommon cards (so the other player would not have or buy this cards)
- player dont know that deck / the keycards (so you are lucky enough to have no konkurrenz that makes the loads high)
- player dont like the deck or understimate it (so you are lucky enough to have no konkurrenz that makes the loads high)
In all those cases the load would stay small, even if the deck is a winner.

(I really would like to know, your deck or at least what characters you play, but I gues you would not tell and I totally understand that.)

no way top decks wont be loaded cat, players will figure it out or netdeck top decks when playing against

i dont think chars have to count in 5 rare limit because they doesnt have better stats, most of them keep the balance of the class, maybe an op effect in some case, but as said before loads will kick them from the tournamemt

chars are hard to replace and if you have even a lower pool compared with other guilds, becuase you have a distorted percentage between com unc and rares, it yells unfair for that guild/class

2-3 days ago, static and Franz use "Night terror" and I think they can stay in top 5 too.

But I agree, normally Zil need more than 5 rares, harder to make a deck than other guilds.



I play Compendium, but not like the others.
While many Compendium users love to use witchblade training on Norya, then play Art of magic or Crystal storm, my Compendium rarely go offensive.

I focus on surviving, use gravitons and breakers to destroy opposing cards and use Piguy on Ogmor, make him very hard to die, then paste magic servant, ice crystal or even crystal storm later.

Sometimes I play for 10-12 turns, make the foe have no more cards to play.



Maybe that's true, but if character rares are not count, it will be unfair for some decks too. Some decks have only 1 decent rares in standard format while the others are just filler, while some decks have 2-3 rares and their ability are better than uncommon chars. It will be like 7-8 rares VS 6 rares.

just fighting against a zil dagger deck in quili... guy has 1649 elo... chars are spike, bazinga and asthra... i think his elo alone shows that its possible to create something in this direction
