My ice elf deck cost me 50k top...
And 6 feet under is a card anyone playing merc fun deck has since it's so good in merc deck...

You brought the "free ice elf deck" into the discussion. Nice of you to acknowledge that it's in no way suited to get the trophies.

thinking that you can do anything with a free deck is purely stupid...
You'll akways have to upgrade it a little.
And upgrading an ice elf deck from the free one was really cheap.
Now stop raging, this event is impossible to complete for free. However, you can have the sword which is the only really decent card (Lucyan is good too, but requires a particular LU and expensive cards to be worth it...)

Feerik hasn't realized that their greedy business model actually makes them LOSE money.

I WANT to spend money on Eredan, but every overpowered release or greedy event makes me take a break for days or even weeks.
And when I come back, even more overpowered releases have made whatever collection of cards I have amassed so far closer to becoming obsolete.
So my conclusion is simple: No way in hell I'm going to spend money if anything awesome I get becomes banned/obsolete in a few weeks.

This, is what I believe makes most games quit or stop paying for this game.

Even then, I get on Class Arena or Leveling Rooms, only to find an opponent using a 100% Foil Legendary Deck, and when I get lucky and OHKO one of his characters with my average deck, he quits.
That's the state of this game.
0% Fairplay, 0% Balance, 500% Grind, 1000% PayToWin.

And they don't even listen when the playerbase wants to help them make more money LEGITIMATELY.
I have already made a very simple suggestion based around repeatable Trophies to GREATLY improve the fairplay of Eredan - that alone would make players have ALOT more fun, because there would be less quitting and the games would be faster.
This would make Eredan ALOT more attractive to play.

What's Feerik's response? <insert inconclusive staff reply>

I'm not raging.
But an event, impossible to complete in the way it is supposed to be completed (achieving the trophies) is bad game design. It is telling your players that they aren't valued beyond the money they spend right now and it is ultimately bad for the game.

I play on kongregate, where there is a direct chatroom for everyone playing the game.
This event alone cause 4 dedicated, long-time, spending players to cut down their playtime, and consider leaving.

I see day today the beginner difficulties, the frustration with events as this one and how eredan literally loses players over it. Of course, it is anecdotal and a rather small sample size, but i find it hard to believe that it is isolated.

And believe it or not, I want Feerik to earn money from the game, so it has a future.

"Use the free deck; after you buy 100+ crystals worth of cards to make it work. Oh and probably some trophies so some Feez too. Oh and the event is impossible to do for free so why are you even asking for cheap decks you dirty dirty f2p players".

Okay that last part is a tad overboard, but you've kinda proven why I hate events. You need to have great decks to do these events. Players that can run full Noz Blast, Zil Dagger Masters, Runic Priests, and any number of decks besides Zerkers(Master Ma, Dragon Knights, Avalonians, even seen more Pack decks than Ice Elf); these are the guys that CAN do the event for free with grinding. Because they have strong decks.

You don't have strong decks? Pay to get these cards the ones that could help out starter guys. And if you joined after the free ice elf deck, then you have no free deck that's okay to use. After you add 100k worth of cards and still won't be as good as Direct Demon.

But all this doesn't matter. The event is almost over and the paying/strong players all ready have their cards. So Feeik will sign this off as another 'success'.

Look everyone. It is impossible to finish this event except if you grind 24/7. Raging/complaining will not change it. Just get 1 card and call it quits.

IMHO, there is not enough time to finish this event. It is designed and geared towards players that have nothing else better to do than playing games all day every hour.

And it is stupidly expensive to get all cards by paying (you might as well buy the legendary booster). So, I will what I can and let this event go.

You can have 2 with a little patience : 4 tokens for the play 200 cards trophies and 4 tokens for the buff 500 skills trophies.

Killing characters and winning games is another story.

What about duration of the event?

In the news I see: "Thie event starts now and will end on Thursday 30th May at Noon (Paris time)."
But above mission we have timer and there is 1 day left.

What time is right?

So how do you propose we give Feerik feedback, given that this is the only avenue available to us?
