Guild: Pirates
Races: Golem, Fire Guemelite, Lightning Guemelite
Cast: Mechanist
Spirit: 3
Attack: 4/6
Defense: 3
Health points: 15

Effects:
If you play a Fire Spell, a "BX-9000 Catalyst" is created and attached to one of your Mages alive.
If you play a Lightning Spell, "Tryx" heals 3 Health points at the end of the fight.
Turns 2, 3 and 4: +2 to magic damage dealt.

Your "Flash for Ward" last 2 additional Turns. Chain. Permanent.
As the card activates and at the beginning of the fight, all the characters gain 2 "Powder" Tokens.

As this card activates, the character suffers 4 to 6 magic damage points, + 1 damage point for every Lightning Spell in play. (max. +4)

Effects:
If your character carries a "Lightning rod", the opposing character suffers X magic damage points where X equals your character's Spirit +5 to 7.
If not, the opposing character suffers 5 to 7 magic damage points and a "Lightning rod" in your Hand, Deck or Discard pile attaches itself to one of your characters determined at random.


These cards are now available in the Newcomers boosters.

It was too op for a common card... and Witchblades really abused it, as well as Knight-Witch Xeenelk... It is still good however :)

it was good only with multiclass because pure mages cant attack rule, buffing attack and using this card is meaningless

im sad for lightning pirates, they are trying so hard with this powder/fire hybrid, now with... flash for ward?

Humm, Amaya, Thunder king, master marzhin, Karabus ;)
For pure mages : with courtiers deck ;)
So i think that ligthening lace may have some uses :D

Honestly I think this is good the original intent was for pure mages to use this card since there is hardly any multi mages that can take advantage of this. This might encourage the use of Cerebral Crook and Battle Mages.

none of those characters were even decent to add laces with them, thunderking abuse of dd an lightning lts only, no need to add it

Yeah, lightning lace is useless now. But this new pirate mage deck is pretty OP, I just bought the deck yesterday and now I'm rank 1st in Quilingo tournament.

And yeah, flash for ward (that's created by mechanical swarm) is one of the key cards. It make me able to use 100,000 volts much easier.
