Spell or Spells?

The card says spells and the only way that the effect of a card like would continue its effect after the fight was over would be if it was either listed as a permanent, lasted for multiple fights, or multiple turns. Personally, I wouldn't mind if the effect of this card actually lasted a couple more turns and totally ruined no-hands and corruptions.

What just confused me was this part: the next opposing Shadow and Nehantic "Spells" are discarded.

That's why I thought it would be all cards, otherwise it should be on singular. I cheked on French version and is on plural also.


BTW, I saw the image of the Dragon form on my opponent and it should be very exciting to play as one :p

If its plural it would allow you to shut down those Entrophy and cloning shenanigans along with anything else those two decks have in store. This would be a hard counter.

If a single card, it allows the opponent to feed it a card and thus counterplay, making it a soft counter.

Well, they can still shut it down by playing DMR before you.

The dragon in me would've wished this was a DK update, but maybe there is something salvageable inside.

EDIT: Which reminds me, + = 6 rounds of shutdown if you get your cards right.

No, its correct being plural you just missed the card dynamic of the effects of a card only last as long as said card is in play, since this card is only in play for the one fight/combat round it is played in only up two nehantic or two shadow cards will be discarded, the most a player can play without the help of or in a fight/combat round.




That would only work if you either only played one or your opponent played a /. It wouldn't discard the nehantic/shadow spells that were played in activation order before it was played, remember the next part.

Yes, you are correct on that, forgot that Name plays the card after the others. Still, getting a potential of 3 rounds of 0 opposite cards in play. Also, on non-initiative turns if the opponent plays Entrophy, while Entrophy itself does not get discarded, the cards it pulls do, thus countering Entrophy.
