The Archivist
From now on and until 05/09/2013 09:00 AM (French time), a new trophy is available.

You can take part in this trophy during that precise lapse of time, after that it will not be available anymore. You can also buy this trophy for 199 Fee'z and acquire the title and the card associated with it.

Play 90 Magis Books or Scrolls. Maximum 9 points per game. You must play against different players.

You will earn the card named The old files and the title: The Archivist.

The old files: Action. Collector. Unique. Duration 2 turns. Choose up to 3 cards from your Hand, they are removed. At the end of the next turn, if you have less than 4 cards in Hand, the removed cards are replaced, otherwise they are discarded. Chain.

Enjoy the game!

"the removed cards are replaced"

This makes no sense to me. Someone please explain.

I think they just go out of game for a turn and then 'return' to your hand, if I get it right. Cute if you want to save some cards from being discarded or so.

So the removed cards arent replaced, the <4 cards in your hand are.

Feerik REALLY needs someone who speaks english to proof read their new cards...

Could you provide a suitable translation for this card ?
The concept is that the card are moved out of your hand and out of the game for one turn. then at the end of the next turn, if you have less than 4 cards in hand, the "protected" cards are put in your hand again, if you have 4 cards or more, the "protected" cards are discarded.

For your record at the time Amber does the translation, she was from England and English was her mother-tongue. The translation were found not better than now.
The real issue is not about the language but about the specific wording of the game.

Staff if you are reading this please reword the card to read:

"Duration 2 turns. Choose up to 3 cards from your Hand, they are removed from the game. At the end of the next turn, if you have less than 4 cards in Hand, you may discard your hand and the removed cards are placed in your hand, otherwise the removed cards are placed in your discard pile. Chain."

It could be even more clear, but I understand you need to sacrifice grammar correctness for the sake of space sometimes (its all gotta fit).

It is not the current text.
You don't have to discard your hand to get yours cards back.

Perhaps correct version is :
"Duration 2 turns. Choose up to 3 cards from your Hand, they are removed from the game. At the end of the next turn, if you have less than 4 cards in Hand, the removed cards are placed in your hand, otherwise the removed cards are placed in your discard pile. Chain."
