Can only get points from playing against different players, bug?

most likely not a bug. they tend to do that a lot but 99% of the times they forget to mention it.

besides that, as a comment concerning the event:
it is annoying thing is that when playing against 1-hero decks you most likely will not get a point if you win, unless you manage to do perfect against them. Also if you focus on the event and abandon games against them you will get a penalty.

I believe the 1 character deck like and count as 3. So killing the opponent and you have 1 character who survives will net you the point.
