Couple advantages in this deck:

- Although it won't make it to the top places on Global, with luck you can make it to 1700 ELO. I got as close as 1698 a couple weeks ago (frustrating uh?).
- It is sooo fun to destroy your opponents' strategies :D
- Excellent against mages if you got The Spooker and the initiative. :p (Think about thunder pirates, now think about owning them :D)

Disadvantages:

- Centered around one only card, ruins this deck. Not fun :?
- High Spirit opponents
- Opponents with lots of damage reduction (Nebsen, courtiers if you fail to dis-attach the circle, etc)
- Very expensive... some hard-to-obtain cards if you don't already got them...

Objectives:

1) AoE kill with the Agony spell, obviously
2) Prevent your opponent from playing
3) Decent Attack

Deck itself :P

, ,

Any other marauder/warrior shadow guem works (, ) but the deck obviously won't be as effective.

That has been around for a while now. I use 2 cloning and candy, You can also add ziloween and civil war if you have it.

I replaced spooker with archmage artrezil. Kinda fun.. :)

Yes, true, I've been using this deck for a couple months, so it's been around. I just created this post because in another discussion they were asking about this deck.
Oh, I've heard of people using in this deck. May I ask you, how do you use it? On the enemy to lower the spirit or on your characters to buff the attack?
Really, the Archmage? I know he also has an ability like the Shadow's one, but doesn't his low attack get in the way??

Question for anyone: Have you tried using ? That card + Cloning can create a really nice combo!

I have, the combo's pretty good, but you are really dependant on how you draw your cards.
(because it kinda jamms your hand....)

For Candy, if the enemy has 3 or less life and has no damage reduction, he gets killed. Also, if I have cloning or if I know that an illumination will result to an agony, then I use candy to chain it and cast it on a character that has maybe like 6 life and 2 spirit, so he dies. Something like that.

Well, the thing about archmage is I can chain 2 aoes or 3 if you are lucky..

I tried mask but like skadoosh says, it really hampers my deck sometimes so it is a bit situational..

oh and sometimes I had to use spooker since aberration gets countered too easily with
