I think that Shield should be return to armor subtyping. We can call it "Armor Shield" while making all other ones "Armor Suit", this way they can both be attach to a character but also give chain to warriors that chain armor.

Or maybe just add "Chain Armor or Shield". I think the devs are too lazy that they didn't add that to those characters who can chain armor before the change.
