I think, the hardest part of creating an adventure mission is not to choose characters, but to programm the AI for each deck.

Usually, restrictions include the cards you are not allowed to play not the cards you are allowed to play. Part of me is wondering why he is making the Dark Tower more like the Trials of the Champions, where you have to play certain characters then like the Dark Tower where certain types of deck are forbidden on certain floors.
