As you may or you may not know, Feerik has stated that they completely ditched Berserker class. Berserkers were what Berserkers should be - pure, reckless damage (physical, magical AND direct) with no regards to defense. Too bad Zil marauders do better in all 3 types of damage while having some nice utility too.

So, my idea is as follows: ditch Berserkers as a class, instead make them a caste and add, say, Warrior/Mage/Priest depending on a character to current Berserkers. Since they morph into bestial shape when enraged, why not add them a Beast race when they obtain the rage bonus?

Keep their current cards, just make Berserker class effects (like Rage bonus) into Berserker caste effects.

And this also gives us the chance to update on of other outdated characters, . Something like this:

Elfine
Mage
Berserker
Rage: The Sachem changes appearance and becomes a Beast/Warrior which printed attack equals 7/10 and he deals an additional attack that equals his printed MIn attack.
The Sachem obtains his rage bonus until the end of the game when one of your characters die.
Turns 3 and more: Attack +1 for each of your dead characters.

Maybe even release another Sap berserker to go with and . Could make an interesting strategy with and considering that these two characters alone have different races and would obtain Beast when enraged.

- I disagree with him losing classes when transforming.
- I agree with giving Berserker's the Beast Race while Raging.
- I disagree with removing Berserkers.

I've made a suggestion regarding The Sachem.

I suggested that he should:
1 - Not lose the Mage class when transformed
2 - His transformation should change his Printed Attack (so he can use Quick Draw, etc)
3 - His additional Attack should be equal to his NEW Printed Attack
4 - His Order Bonus should also increase his Spirit and Defense per dead ally.

That being said, I'm not against him becoming Berserker in addition.
But if that was the case, he should keep his ability to transform as long as at least one of his Allies is dead.

The text for that transformation would simply say: "At the start of the Turn, if one of his Allies is dead, he gains Rage (perhaps until the end of the game?)."

Well, I kinda did write points 2.) and 3.) for Sachem and the transformation text, just put in a little diferently (The Sachem obtains his rage bonus until the end of the game when one of your characters die.).

But, let's be honest here, it is Feerik - they won't buff him, they will just release more powerful version if they get to him - they won't profit from people having old Sachem, but people buying new version... That's another story.

What I thought is, if Feerik won't release new Berserker cards (I'd like that they do. You'd like it. A lot of players would like it - but ultimately it was their decision to stop supporting Berserkers), at least incorporate them into a caste. Take, say, for example. With this change he would get Warrior class and Berserker caste - the change wouldn't remove the ability to play Berserker cards, but would allow him to play Warrior cards - ultimately buffing Berserkers (if just a little, but at their current state anything is welcome) without a specific card release.

Feerik can always profit from old cards by making them require new cards to upgrade into the new version.
