I hate what tamers are right now. It's a really neat idea but it has no direction nor does it have any real support. So I redesigned the cards to fit a more themed deck that can actually use the pets.

First up is Ogmar. His ability now does more dmg for each friendly pet in play and gets boosted by Cutirrel. Also he boost DF of Tamers the first time they play a Pet. Maybe he should be 1 DF. Not really sure. This one represent magic pet

Cutirrel redsign is simple: more spell power.

Vaerzar effect is simple. He gets stat boost for wearing a pet and also make sure pets don't get discarded (they can be returned to deck or hand though). He is suppose to represent offensive pets.

Again simple thing. More attack power.

Pamm is next, her first effect is now putting any pet you have into play. This way you're not limited and can make a more structure pet theme. Her second effect is just to retrieve a card from the discard if you wear a pet. She represent protective pets.

Changed to now give -1 to dmg suffered and healing your tamers. Before it was too good. -1 to all characters and healing at the end of each turn was to powerful even as a unique effect.

The idea is nice, although i would simplay prefer 1 litle addition to make tamers more viable and base the decks around that.

Tamer:
Can have 2 Pets at the same time Equiped.

There have been some cards that push the boundaries of the equipable possibilitys

though i like some of the ideas but i wouldn change the current pets to much.
darkats 9/11 Base attack for example is pretty nice.
And i think that class change thing is pretty neat, gives huge bonuses but makes the lose theyr ability to chain.
But in one thing you are right, we need support cards for tamers.
But sadly there are not really anny cards that could be reworked in that way to be fitting.
for that youd need to have new speels or actions.

Maybe youd take the picture of and make somethign out of it.
Other cards that could be reworked to tamer cards
, , , .
Those offer at least some fitting artworks tha could be interpreted as Tamer cards.
And because they are not really played their old effekt can be thrown overboard if needed.
Add a Tamer Tag to them and well your good to go to go crazy with it.

E.g.
for
Tamer:
chain
Attack + 2 for every pet in play

Strong but needs buildup.
and if you did not get the marodeur or warrior cast you also wont play damaging spells.

The problem with giving classes to mage is you open up cards like and/or becoming a problem. Vaezer currently lets you chain spells if you have a pet and mage hybrids can attack afterwards. So Rain of Death/Lightning Laces + Darkat + Magic Attack =1 turn kills on many characters. A.K.A stronger Witchblades.

Having 2 pets is a very strong ability and should probably be an ability for a future character. Also becomes stupidly broken if you give Tamers 2 pet.

Well i dont see the problem there, it needs a lot of buildup.
Even rain of death and darkat in turn 1 wouldnt even come close to ohkoing the enemys.
Whithc blades are so strong because they already have that 10710 statline and can then even go up to 14/14 + .
so a good Strength isnt necesarily op.
And as long as there is a disruptable build up process behind it its ok.
E.g. Zil can always go turn 1 akrham Shadow mantie and just ohke your verez.
And the nyour deck is basicly done.
so i wouldnt change the companions those are maybe a bit underpowered but ok i guess.

And even osmosis isnt really a big deal, because for one card its a nice stat boost but it needs buildup.
because even if you play tat in turn 7 with everyone having 2 pets, you wasted your turns for the buildup and did practily nothing.
So i think that would be ok....but it could turn out broken.
But at the moment i doubt that.

btw, i love the idea of different effekts based on the kind of Pet you have equiped.
though some of those might be a bit broken.

Right now Vearzar+Darkat(from Pamm)+Lightning Laces+Magic Attack= 10-12 magic attack and 12-14 physical and you set the opponent DF to 0. That is a very real and very scary turn 1 play. Sure it might require luck to get it off but the same can be said for all combos.

The thing about balancing card is not only do you have work around the cards you currently have but you also have to work around cards you might release in the future.

Just look what happen to a card that was meant to help Witchblade out was so stupidly good. And now it banned probabl even permenantly from tournament.

Also I've reworked the pets because looking at them they are really good.

true, that could get out of hand.
Carefull balance and playtestign is needed.
