It's quite boring to see only some decks roll in the tour, especially, witchblades. Since BASIC cards are very limited and no update. So when people find out which decks are good or OP, they will use ONLY those decks FOREVER.

Should you fix it a bit for us to enjoy it more ? I think the players participated in the Lucyan tour is gradually decreasing. Most people only register to get 1 coin and not play it at all.

If we had a thumbs up options on this forum, I would totally thumbs up your idea. Though I personally think basic should have a level cap so the new players could actually enjoy it, wasn't that what it was originally made for? Not for new players to totally get bullied by old players who figured out the best combination?

Agree+1 supposed to be a tournament where the newest player see styles of some decks, but there are a lot of players using witch-blade's ..

like another level bracket for new players level 13+. Since new players will only be matched against older players after they reach level 13 (my friend was playing the newbie mode of lucyan tournament, where he won't be matched against any player whose level is higher than 12. when he reached level 13, he got kicked out of the new player lucyan tourney and was left to fend for himself agaisnt level 30+ on the lucyan tourney for levels 13+ :D ) So maybe a second new player friendly lucyan tourney for players lvl 13 - 20?.

level cap is good, but you don't allow older players to play casual tournaments, and also i think that you only need crazy ammounts of crystals to get everything. I think that those crystals can also be purchased somehow. This means that even low level players can dominate the tournaments the same way.

crystal value cap is the solution. what about 50k crystals for basic and 120-150k for standard? just an idea....

The problem with a crystal cap idea is market fluxuation. It begs for some people to abuse it by making a set of overpowered cards have a very low price, thus artificially bringing wholly broken decks into eligibility. The only plus side to that is that it also allows the opportunistic cheapskate (like myself) to grab some very nice cards on the cheap, potentially foiling their plans.

what about IN EVERY WEEKLY CARD RELEASE, THEY ADD IN 1 CARD THAT WILL BE PART OF THE BASIC SET, instead of just banning cards...

Banning cards does not balance the Meta, it changes it. Meaning other decks will just come on top.

To balance the Meta game, discrete banning of cards should be accompanied with new cards that will supplement the loss of the banned cards with just enough strength to balance.

Nerfing cards, instead of banning works too...
