Well actually I'm glad you asked, because yes there is a point.
As you say, all the DK swords are indeed one handed swords...BUT!! not all of them can be dual wielded and to do so requires you to have a specific sword (either dreist or naelrung) already equipped. So, Ketanant having duel wield allows him to play, for example, Chimera and Draconian sword together, whereas in most other cases, that wouldn't be possible.
