These are some card ideas that me and Marvin_Surig have been dscussing in the german forum.
I figured that it might be interesting for everyone not speakign german too because in my opinion they would fit perfectly into the universe and the lore.
were stil ldiscussing about thise card but i thought it would be interesting to post my last thoughts about them here too.

first lets start with the one that would need the buff the most


Human
Warrior/Carftsman
Spirit: 2
Attack: 8/9
defense: 4
Life 14
Can attach craftsman items and swords to any character.
At the start of your Battle you can choose up to 1 sword from your discard pile.It will be placed in your deck.
Even turns: attack +1 defense +2 a sword from your deck is placed into your hand.

Just some simple recycling and that you may attach swords to any other character.
Would make sense for the smith to be able to equip everyone else with weapons.

And now the card that ifind to be the most interesting.
because we already have a scabberd of the sword, we know its secrets but we never saw the sword itself.

cursed Demonblade murasama
Guild: Nehant-Kotoba
Class: Fighter
Item one handed sword
Unique
At activation and the start of every battle, both characters in battle become Demon in addition to theyr other races.Attack +1 for each demon in the game(Maximum +3)
As this card activates, your charachter suffers 3 direct damage
kotoba: attack +3 Defense -2

This is based o nthe japanese mythos of murasama and masamune, those master swordsmiths.
Mostly murasamas blades are depicted as bloodthirsty.
So why not make it a demonic possesed item.
this is as muc has a multi purpose item as it gets.
It is playable for nehant because it gives them a solid cursed item and may add the demon race to one of them.
For Kotoba warrior it is a very strong offensive tool with a HEAVY drawback.
And for demonhunter its also a strong tool to make the enemys demons so theyr"if enemy is demon do something" effects are mroe efficient.
You could even make this a 2 lvl card and add a broken form, or a sealed form.

Well and where there is a sword, there would also be a smith:

Murasama, the demonic smith(smith of the cursed weapons?)
Guild:Nehant
Race: Demon-Human
Class Warrior/Craftsman
Attack 9/10
Defense: 2
Life 14
Can attach craftsman items and swords to any character.
chain swords.
Every sword that is palyed by murasama will become a cursed item(ok, im not too sureo n that because i dont play nehant that much, but you might even make every played sword become cursed as long as he is in the game)
uneven turn: attack +1

ou may see some similaritys to masamune because in the myth he is said to have been his deciple.
Not much to say here, i thought a cursed weapon playstyle might be interesting.
The blade murasama would be the masterwork of murasama and his ultimate creaton which is why it bears his name.

so, and because murasama has a masterwork, why shouldnt masamune too:

Masamune, blade of inner peace
Kotoba
Warrior
one handed sword
Unique
spirit +2 defense +1 attack -1
Your kotoba warriors have -1 on recieved damage
if played by masamune: -1 on recieved damage

in contrast to the demonic blade this one is based around protection.
it even reduces your attack but gives defensive bonuses instead.

At last we still have 1 card that bears connection to all of this but is absolutely useless right now:


Guild: kotoba-Nehant
Class: Warrior (adding craftsman might be a bit too strong here so i would just stay with warrior)

Well, for this card we have 2 different aproaches:
1. make it more reliable:
if at the start of the turn murasama, the possesed smith or masamune is one of your characters, this card is placed int oyour hand
duration 2 turns, the characteristic bonuses of the weapons played by your character at the start of the fight, or the weapons that are bound to you by a craftsman are doubled.
kotoba, duration 5 more turns

2. make it more universally usefull.
duration 2 turns.
doubles the bonuses and penalties of the swords of your characters.
kotoba:duration 2 more turns. Murasamas penalties will be ignored.

This would make it a mini

I still like all the ideas. I also like the new Idea of the cursed blade smith.

But I'm in favour of making a craftsman card. It would help us use the effect directly after playing it. the way it's now we would need something that taps our other characters to use it well a craftsman could just give it to the next character letting him use it turn 2.

And yes it's strong but it makes Kotoba Kraftsman more useable and to me Kotoba always been the item user guild which use equipments. That's why to me it's strange keeping their Craftsman with so little support.

Yeah thats sad, i play it for a long time and NEVER have i seen the kotoba carftsman beeing played in a good deck.
