Marauders do magic attack? Why not? I called that variation, the one who's surely retarded are the one that cant adapt to situation.
Heck, the official description said they SPECIALIZE in beating the crap out of low spirit characters, ofc if you specialize in something specific like say turn high physical attack to magical attack the opposition would rise their spirit,to counter this, surely they had to fully be able to manipulate opposing spirit, if not what's the fun in that?
Ever fought full fledged eclipse deck? They laugh at what you called physical defense, they can ignore your cards, they can heal good amount, and they can snipe your key character, the most obvious difference is only crow deal high magical damage while lowering spirit. While crow can also do the rest with the right card.
I could go on but I don't have all day, well I could but I wont spending it with you

If what you are saying is "crows are fine learn to adept" there really is nothing worth discussing with you. Eclipse is easier to deal with yet it is another powerful archetype, however it isn't as troublesome as crows.

Not so much in standard... which is what we're talking about... you see, because they COULD and then one of the cards got banned. But to address limestones "low spirit' point... no... ANY spirit. Thanks to the -2 from the spell weapon, and kagejutsu... it doesn't matter WHAT spirit... they will eat you. And THIS got piercing arrows banned... but the same isn't true here. (seriously, get scourge to 8+ spirit, for example, it's not going to matter... he WILL die, and they WILL heal to add insult to injury... same thing actually stopped those standard pirate mages dead... but couldn't be done sometimes... balance? Here, even IF done... DEAD)

the healing is what bothers me most I was able to make scourge hit 13 spirit but I only had one hp left it if weren't for their healing (that stacks) I wouldn't lose many games against them. (also note to self gone with the death + duel against a very buff daijin is a very bad idea).

DEAD) Hey when I said "low spirit" it was from the official description, I simply quoted it Anyway if you wanna kill crow in the butbut just use decent strategy like lowering their attack, deny their use of items (or spells), or swap attack with yours. Like you said it was no use buff up ur spirit knowing they got easy cheap spell like kagejutsu and crow's hand to hit you full force. Im getting used to beating up crows with demon debuff deck, stack rosary on scourge and use cheap tricks like hand of death or bile spitter + master voice combo. Also dont forget to use champion breakfast to recover from initial attack Every decks got their cheap tricks, now discover yours

Also dont forget to use champion breakfast to recover from initial attack Every decks got their cheap tricks, now discover yours Yeah, you're speaking to the champion of the first ever tournament Eredan ran (winter champion) and I T5'd with scourge deck a bunch while piercing arrows was banned... I think I know a little bit enough to "discover mine" and MY analysis leads me to believe your strategy is not going to be effective all that often OR you're weakening your decks consistency catastrophically against other decks... why? Well, because with crow being so pervasive, a deck that dealt with them easily as you suggest without giving up game against everything else... would be, in turn, flooding the room. It is not. Ergo there is a flaw in your analysis. No, rather, there's something inherently broken about the combination of cards crow currently have access to, while also a massive amount of redundancy AND a wide range utility. There's no GOOD vector from with which to attack them while holding them off. I can not see how kagejutsu is still not banned, given the lines I was given about piercing arrows... the hypocrisy is actually astounding... it must be too close to crow deck sales having made them a lot of money yet, too much potential anger, compared to the elfine players at the time (it was a relatively cheap deck if you went the keizan version and gave up briskness).

The problem of piercing arrow is tht it ws ALWAYS activated after the opponen's card, so any defense buff was useless; and it is an object wich is really hard to counter... kagejutsu is a normal spell, counterable AND you can still buff your spirit after it activated... Also in standart, defense tend to go up to 8/10 pretty easily whereas spirit never goes over 4/6; and you've already gt a spirit debuff with hand of the crow... So kagejutsu really isn't as powerfull as you think... Most of the time it will be a -3/-2 spirit whereas piercing arrow could mke -5/-6 def pretty easily Funny thing though, I don't think crow are that powerfull... They just play no brain, and they are reallypreditible... Just don't run without removal...

They just play no brain, and they are reallypreditible... Just don't run without removal... You must really be trying to be that disingenuous. AT THE TIME of the piercing arrows ban, 10def wasn't common, you argue their REDUNDANCY makes kagejutsu less useful (they'll have reduced spirit anyway!)... errr, no! It makes it MORE useful, because if the other reduce are doing their job you play a card other than kagejutsu and IF NOT then your trump just obliterates them. You ignore, conveniently that the "less useful" (because spirits are lower than defense... because of less spirit boost, and yet, somehow they're always going to play spirit boost second without the initiative in order to get somewhat around the jutsu in order to make it SO UTTERLY USELESS compared to arrows which "always" (errr, no, you had limited bows) went after all the boosts) kagejutsu COMPLETELY negates ALL spirit (not just bonuses) AND does some damage to boot. And in summation you argue against yourself. Crow aren't powerful, they're just faceroll to use, eh? You know, things that tend to win despite being played by incompetent players... are... you know... powerful. Sometimes there's another super in depth knife edge balance strategy that elite players can use to beat other elites who are, by the way, using the faceroll strategy to its complete outer limits... but, yeah, here, I think the elite player playing crow is going to be beating the elite player playing anything else. You're welcome to put out there the anti crow strategy that isn't gimped vs everything else so that every week I see it totally not dominating and feasting on all the faceroll crows I can have a good chuckle.

piercing arrow never got defense bellow the initial defense. It just negated boosts. crow cards usually take spirit to 1 or 0. And there are not many cards to negate 2 cards in a row that make crows hit for magic attacks, at least in standard format. And i think the best way to kill that intense healing is that event card that reverses healing. Also in sap hearts they have banned that can heal up to 5 if you tutor it, and crows have a much better healing card allowed. Crows do what saps did some time ago, better, but all their cards are allowed, and all sap equivalent cards are banned. this is all to get feez to buy every single card is getting printed to catch up with all these. the only fun thing left in this game is events.
