Joseph_Strom a écrit : Hmm... I'm not convinced I think the theme for this week is going to be craftsmen not war guems... though either way it would be a runic/kotoba or a runic/pirate/kotoba, so no new Nehant deck. Then I'll wait, for demons time means nothing . I do hate if this new cow bull thingy character makes runic war guems more OP, like a +40 attack on the next turn.

Though then again I could be totally off my mark and next update could be hammer time and the update could be based around Runics/Mercanaries/Sap Hearts/whoever they decided they want to use hammers.

Rewarding players for paying is one thing,, but punishing non-paying players at the same time is just ridicolous

I am struggling to see your point. TheRainMan, I assume, is referring to the new Wealth and Experience gems. It's basically another way for paying players to get ahead in the game by obviously gaining crystals an levels faster while us non paying player continue to struggle at the same pace that we've been at, but now we're also getting kicked in the ribs along the way. So, RainMan's assessment of "punishment" is quite accurate.

Nothing in this world is free. All these cards, game, design, server, ads, forums, maintenance, development, balance and etc. costs a huge amount of money. feerik needs money to be able to pay for it and make a profit. I am against many of their tactics, as it usually means they're shooting themselves in the foot, but nobody can complain why paying customers get these bonuses. In many games, the best way to reward paying customers, is to give them perks, such as increase in XP gain and increase in currency gain. This is not punishing for F2P players, this is an attraction for them in order to make them pay and gain this bonus. We can't put whatever Feerik does under fire. I liked this idea. I think this is a fair idea, and actually not very expensive too!

I think this is a fair idea, and actually not very expensive too! This game has no free features except taking a starter deck (worth no more than the 10k crystals), making a deck, and entering a game room, which will probably be adventure mode for any free player at level 13+. What are the current attractions to make players pay? Buy cards with real money or grind for months for ONE card. Buy the deck of the week and lots of boosters or get mauled. Buy or as one of the new beginners trophies says"The Fun is Over", yes, that is literally the name of one of the trophies new players have to get before unlocking the store etc etc. (I think it's win 3 pvp games or something like that) This update doesn't make the game more novice friendly, just penalizes them for not immediately throwing money into a FLASH game, like everything else here :3 Success of a gaming company like this = appeasement and growth of a healthy community Currently, it's more like Call of Duty and all of those other console games, give us your money, we decide the content,we don't care if it breaks the game, deal with it. I remember when Master Assassin was first released, someone joked that eventually feerik would make a card that gives attack +10 on a normal basis called "Murder", but hey!

Card of the week with daily quest ? Cards from adventure mode ? Yes you're right, nothing free.

This will be somewhat fixed when the useless cards can be destroyed for cash. I wouldn't mind so much if these were 'free to earn' even if you had to jump through some hoops. Heck, Schrei came up with a decent way of giving out more crystals in a suggestion thread. I'm just conflicted on these two cards. Useful to new players yes, but at the same time feels like another forced thing to do just to play. Oh and about Feerik needing to make money, I thought the Market, Decks, Trophies, Favors, Energy, Crystals, and Events usually payed enough to keep this game afloat. If it's bleeding out money so fast that they have to come up with new money making plans, I don't think this will give them enough cash to keep the game going. Heck if they are bleeding that much money, wouldn't they openly tell us about it?
