Yes when cards that grant bonuses got removed or discarded, the bonuses will also be removed because the card isn't there anymore and no more source for the bonus. But Equinox doesn't remove those cards, just the bonuses they give and thus Crown should protect those stats from being modified, changed or altered because it explicitly says so in its description. And removing/canceling bonuses does change the stat.

doesn't directly modify your stats... It acts on the bonus or penalty not your stats... When they're no longer there your stats change automatically...

As didn't modify your stats, doesn't apply... It doesn't protect from bonuses or penalties "disappearing"... Just things like "Attack -X"...

Both cards are behaving exactly as they read...

it is a very badly texted card among others. in normal games difference in text and function are considered as bugs, but not in here
has also more bugs too. It cannot nullify permanent bonuses if the card that gave them is not attached on the character

for some reason the code for cards that give a bonus until the end of game says:
original "x" = original "x+1" or something, so they trick and they go around it.

for those cases we have to remember what the cards do and ignore the actual text. of course new players have to lose a few games, search the forum and learn the hard way, that the effort they made to build a deck was partially in vain and they have to work around the rules they learned after the game and not before.

it is stupid, but that's the way it is. sometimes only the French (original) text is accurate, or so I heard. Other times French text is also wrong

if you are right (i have not tested yet), i agree, this used to be a bug (or wrong text).

this card ignore buffs/debuffs, technically isnt modifying the stats directly, but im going to ask to the staff


about magic attack, no armor!, i cant remember, but im going to check this asap (equinox and crown)
