is the neo hand deny (scourge, shadow, utkin) abusive? i mean 6 rounds without playing anything, is almost impossible to win

Hand deny is even worse than discard in terms of fun...

Can't blame people for using a tool to win.
Discard and Neo Noz Blast aren't any fun to play against, and to counter them you pretty much need sheer luck, so -shrug-
All it is, is spamminig Cutting all ties while tanking. There are plenty of other spam decks out there, and it's only viable in amnezy, where everything goes, so it can't be that bad.

That's not the hand deny he's referring to, Mage deny doesn't really work because of their bad damage output. Scourge, Utkin and Shadow have moderate attack and stack bonuses on scourge/blackness on opponents while denying them their draw.

8 Turns without a draw, with characters that are doing very little damage, and are easily overpowered by opposing base attack unless they spam brawl. Nowhere near solid.
The scourge lineup would have attacks of 8/11, 9/9, and 7/10, Utkin's passive and scourge's order inflict damage, which triggers blackness, scourge gets a free item, so he loses nothing from playing blackness+Cutting all ties/Btsc, the shadow is guaranteed her order in the first 3 turns unless the opponent can untap/tap characters, Utkin and The Shadow can play Paranoia, ruining whatever setup the opponent can get before or during the cutting all ties abuse, From Behind reduces healing and negates defense boosts, meaning Tadaa You're a bunny is a card for the deck with no drawbacks. That deck could only damage via vital siphons, and even then most of his strategy involved dumping cards and playing ANS, which is very, very inconsistent.
The hand deny being discussed is far more pungent and effective lol

I do remember killing them often with glass cannon zil for 4 turns with high direct damage
