I want to know what you guys think about the new weekly tournament and its over a million total crystal rewards for the winners and participants. Is it a possibility that it may result to crystal influx since every week more than a million crystals are being dumped into the game?

We all know that having a lot of crystals floating around is not good in the in-game's economy as it may result to market inflation and whatnots. At least before there is an entrance fee of 10k crystals so there are some crystals coming out as there are coming in. Don't get me wrong I liked it that they made a trophy so that others can participate in the tourney for free but I think the prizes are a little over-the-top. Even in the earlier Amnezy tournaments the prizes are not these too high. Maybe they could lower the crystal prizes and just add some boosters on it.

The only people likely to see the largest portions of crystals handed out, are those who are already sitting on a million or so crystals.

Boosters with salable cards would be better than tossing a boatload of crystals into the economy, the main reason the market is so imbalanced is the lack of supply vs the demand, and the amount of people already sitting on millions of crystals that could spend 300k on a playset of rares as soon as the flavor of the week comes out.

The way boosters are set up, drop rates are biased against Global rares and legendary cards.
