I don't know if feerik actually checks it's feedback on Kongregate, which is a seperate community from the forums. As I understand it players through fb usually come to the forums.

Just read the recent comments, I wonder who the two people that made Kongregate accounts just to tell everyone else to shut their mouths are.

edit: Just read the top comments, I don't know if I should laugh or cry, seeing as there's only one or two positive ones...

I'm just gonna leave this here and update it as a log...

I guess it's new player friendly and not the type were you get thrown into a pit of raptors once you reach a certain level friendly.

Last I checked it was you can only play people around your own lvl like +5/-5 that and they took Nurvus idea where every card even weak ones can be upgraded in rarity and usefulness into stronger cards.

The 3 main booster packs can be obtained with in game currency. The pack that gives a guaranteed high rarity card are for people with Vip levels (have paid real money). These packs have cards (maybe 1/30th of the entire card collection) that can only be obtained through said packs, cards with legendary base rank, but, such cards are balanced because card strength has a time cost, and all of the legendary(broken effect) cards have no less than 6 turns before they're allowed to be used. Duplicates of weaker cards can be combined in game to create (with a success/loss %) a card of the same name with a higher rank, and increased stats. Activity events are player friendly, and alongside activity events are store events where there are 1-3 cards in the shop for money only. In-game currency is easy to obtain, you're rewarded with a guild shop for being guild loyal and gaining reputation with the guild(built through using "good" or higher ranked cards in game). PvE is multiplayer, bosses aren't retardedly unfair. PvP is challenging, but the strategy involved can only allow one sided battles if you're completely new and have no idea of what you're doing.

It's like eredan if feerik would have listened to most of the suggestion in the forums. Does such a game exist? It's like a dream :p.

It's a completely different playing system. Decks are based on player level in terms of max/min. You start with 2 cards, and draw one at the end of every round. The field is 16x2 - 16x4(need to confirm) depending on what game mode/mission you're playing. Cards can be played according to their time limit, they have Name, turn count timer and rank at the top, attack and health at the bottom, Special abilities are named, and explained via hover. It's a CCG turn based strategy game, buying and selling cards at the auction house(the only way players exchange cards) requires Gold(currency of/from real monies). Instead of eredan's market, where paying players make 95% of the cards in game, crystals have no use outside of purchasing individual cards, more or less made by paying players, and the amount of crystals in existence continually goes up (leading to super inflation), this game's in game currency lets you get an abundance of cards that you'll have to use up for better cards(Grinding actually has rewards), while paying players can trade higher ranked/rarer cards with the currency that was backed with real money(Paying players get a boatload of perks that allows them to get more from the game, without completely crippling the game). There is also a third currency that you receive when you auction cards that everything in the store is also priced to accommodate. So, if you're a free player, you can enjoy the game, but there is still a power gap if you face someone who's heavily invested when you're new and haven't grinded out your ranks, and if you're a paying player, you have access to better/higher ranked cards/payer unique cards, and when you exchange cards with other players, you're awarded another currency that allows you to get more stuff.

In eredan, players only have access to cards created by paying players with the in game currency. Buying is fine, selling requires real monies.

In KoL, All players have access to boosters with in game currency. Paying players have access to better booster packs with real currency. Non-paying players can't trade and have to work with what they get in game, with devices that allow them to grind out better cards from their expanding collection. Only paying players get to auction cards, and have access to the rarer cards created from boosters through said auction and real currency, without grinding or being hypercompetetive (stomping out f2ps). The real currency used in auctions is given to the seller in a third currency (no longer real monies) that has the same price scaling as the real money currency in the store. (meaning, if you payed real money for a card, the other player receives that amount as another currency that they can spend at the same rate in the store, but not as a deposit to auction cards)

KoL 20k+ plays in a day
Eredan >500 plays in a day.

There seems to be a lot less strategy and a lot more minion spamming.
