the point is valid. Also the point that cards that have almost similar effects but played by different guilds are not all allowed in standard. For example: crows are allowed to play that benediction card that heals 5-8 per battle, but saps are not allowed to play feign death that heals 5 per battle. Also the crow card is permanent and the sap card is 2 fights long. So what can be played or not in standard is usually somehow random. One thing is for sure.... most epic cards are banned. The rest depend on which guild they want to favor or not. |

The card restrictions are not based on what they do but what sets they belong. The logic is not; oh let's have all the guilds have cards that do similar stuff. All that matters is if they belong to the last 3 sets or not. The not allowed cards are those that are found too OP for the so called format and are banned due to the unfairness they bring across the board. Cards such as thunderstruck and the mask are fine examples to this. I do agree though. With this logic they should ban at least 2 crow cards or at least nerf them a little. |

So mangg, I'm just curious to know. Do I present a valid point here? No dude, you most certainly do not. You need to consider those as effects. If they have removed the card names and arts, put 2 new cards instead with different names and art which have done the same thing, you wouldn't even think about making this post. Those cards cannot be played separately, they are 2 separate effects you get to chose from playing a card. It really isn't that hard to grasp. You cannot replay them from your graveyard, they are just created cards. The card that creates the 2 cards are valid in standard, that is all that matters. I really don't see discussing this subject any further, as it doesn't make any sense. It is probably the most pointless thing we can discuss about eredan right now. Now if you were ranting about I could understand your logic. It is an uncommon card that creates a rare card, which is also standard valid. This would make a little bit more sense. But really, what we have been discussing here is rather pointless. |

I would just like to point out that cards have to have a sense of continuity. If it isn't listed on that set of cards, it shouldn't appear in any way in that set. |
