i'm not sure if this is a bug or not. correct me if i'm wrong, but when you say "copy", is it different from "create". because whenever i try to copy a permanent spell using mastery or BTSC, it is removed at the the end of the turn. while the fire stone heart created by 1000 birds stays in play until it is sent to the graveyard.
