Reproducibility:

Recap: From behind stops the defense bonus Erguji grants his allies.

Description: I know it doesn't cancel an existing bonus, normally, just stops any NEW defense from being granted... (I had played played armor on erguji first, and THAT wasn't cancelled) but Erguji must be tying to grants the bonus at the start of each turn, rather it being constant, or something? Because it certainly went away when from behind was played... but I only noticed in the next turn when planning, so not sure if immediate bug, or to do with start of turn.

As weird as it seems, it's not a bug.
You have to know that the non permanent attached cards are re-evaluated each turn to see if the bonus/malus is still applicable, and characters are among them.
The card are evaluated in the following order :
-Each card for the player who has the initiative, in the order of appearance on the board (characters first then cards attached to the characters)
- Each card for the player who doesn't have the initiative (same order)

So, if your opponent played and he has initiative, his from behind is evaluated before your Erguji is evaluated.
When Erguji is evaluated, from behind is active and the bonus is gone.

If the bonus is given until the end of the game (like level 3), the bonus is not re-evaluated each turn.

This behaviour has been found with and reducing damage character like or .
The explanation I gave provide from the staff when we asked about similar behaviour at theses times.
