Snow otrnade deals dmg despite damage reduction
Description:
On turn 1 was played by a kotoba warrior deck, so no dmg modifications there.
Despite that my charakters had the -3 dmg reduction, snow tornado did deal damage to me every turn and even on the initial activasion.
Setup:
Have li lan, no cards attached to you to get the dmg reduction ,enemy plays snow tornado

ye they lose life... dont take damage... its a common mistake but no bug^^;

So it has a unique type to "deal damage"?
Because it neither affekts the maximum hp.
So it REALLY sets the hp to always -1 of your current value
And regaining those hp with: is also possible?

np^^ but this "type" of damage has been there for a long time... there is this weekly trophy card... hmmm thunderstorm or some such... with i think marlok standing on a cliff in a downpour... anyhow that card's text says that each player loses 1-3 HP... and they lose it... its not damage of any regular type... just a loss in HP

it also has nothing to do with maximum hp... because its not written on the card... means you are still able to regain that lost hp... but you can not block that loss

this works like sentence, just in case this isnt take as damage, for example, flamara wont heal in case of life loss, but you can use any healing hp card normally

max hp reduction is what you were thinking about

Thats REALLY fascinating, there are some cool interactions with it.
So snow tornado wont even triger an imortal heal.
Truly fascinating
