hmmm first of all thanks for your work mesterl, you seem to be the most active GL when it comes down to releases (which is a pity for other guilds)

second, i can only agree up to a point with mentalists needing 'only' offensive support... actually i never played them as a discarder deck... i totally saw them as stat reducers and damage dealers... high spirit? use gypsy cards to reduce them...

the real damage comes only from premonition, true... but this spell is strong and you can build it up with "winning by magic" even better if combined with "remember the teachings"...

i see mentalists not as first round (1-3) finishers... they go for second round clearly and they need only a little setup... the real problem for me is that they are currently unable to carry all 3 chars from first to second round which leads to certain tank situations in which they dont really shine

i tried some wacky variations, like building around the maro avalonian (forgot his name) and the two hats (akrams and the am hat). some utility cards and what not... well shooting turn 2 a full life avalonian with two helmets down to negative 6 is a little hilarious espacally with Psychorgist and the ability to play a lobotomy with difference 7-9 xD

actually i m quite happy that statics is gone... dont really know how he got there but he sure was a league for himself... of course he was beatable but he dominated the whole game in a way... and besides... he never responded even the most polite questions or requests which i think was arrogant
