Stone Linker Guemlite question

Most Stone Linkers have 2 or 3 types of guemlite as their race. So here's the question, if I use a card like illumination that targets the type of guemlite, which type is selected?

For example, the recent Master Linker laelyse. If I play illumination, does a water spell or an earth spell gets pulled? Or is it completely random? And what about Jeweler y Tools as well?

illumination is random, i dont know the other cards

The card that creates stone hearts only works with Elementals ( , ) So that is strictly limited to that.
Unlinkment allows you to choose a spell belonging to any of the Elements the linker has

Ahh, ok. Thanks for the clarification. Totally did not catch that Jewelery Tools were meant only for elementals. Guess I would have to go with something like stone-heart pouches to create more stone-hearts.

You can also try Sleeping Waters, which can also recyle any used stone heart pouches.

Oh, and unlinkment can also be used on opposing characters. It will force whatever spell non-mages play after it to be ignored.
(Used it to snatch a Magic attack from Dks and stop Commander Zahal from playing Crystal dragon, then trolololed all the way home)
