Why? It would cut into whatever profits they could get for making people feel like they have to pay to get red masks. Personally, when a system like this comes along I hate it when the rarest item/money/token is also the one that takes the most insane amount to do anything with. I'm only up to about 8 now.
Now, actual question rather than complaint. Is there a limit to how many masks you can get during one match?
Not more then 2 masks per turn(it is possible to get only 1 per turn or less, then other will appear later).
Not more then 14 masks per game.
If you "pass" a mask - then you just lose it (so anyway only 14 appears on screen).

I was looking forward for this event for a couple of months now. I liked the way it looked at first. But now, after 36 fights and more at the adventure mode i have only 33 red masks. So to get to 200 i need about 250-300 fights minimum. That is 40-50 a day.
Again i am dissapointed. I think feerik should try and reward people that actually spent much time to the game. And paying some money(maybe not that much, but is still money).

ok guys - I don't like this event either, i hoped that feerik would make something interesting in this 6-7 weeks.
Still this event is very "user friendly". All cards you get for masks - are salable. So all newbies can easily make either good deck or quite huge amount of crystals.
Just think about this event as a help for new players. (btw it is very simple to get master ma - which is very powerfull card, in case if you don't have anything but tutorial deck. So newbies could start farming adventure mode easily)

User friendly? Because they are salable? C'mon, with this event, newbies will be frustrated becausa they could get just crumbles of the big pie. And even player who have been in eredan for a long time will feel the same.

Common guys, this is a free-to-play game.
http://darklegacycomics.com/412.htmlSo either you pay and play happily or you have "absolutly no life"(c) South park, and get what you want(or just leave game).
I left this game about 3 times, and well from time to time i return to play - can't say that it is an ideal game - still it is possible to have some fun in it. Such dull events frustrating - still i do understand why they made it so. Another good marketing way to get money - players got ability to get very costly cards with "small" amount of feez.

Actually I quite like this event. Much better than the pirate/battleship one they did(seriously did you even take into account how many players you have before you put that 'game wide' reward in?!?).
Only problem I have with is the numbers, namely the Red skulls. Yes they give you the best cards and should cost the most. But..., when the Red skulls are extremely hard to get outside of paying, that's when I get a little upset. They just extended the amount of play time one needs to do to get them. Or *ch-ching* make us pay for them. Personally I would have liked a way to maybe exchange the lower tier masks for red ones. Granted they would have to do something about the masks earned from booster packs.
Again, decent event if having the numbers a tad off when compared to the ease of access to reds. At least to non paying players.

Well, I disagree with the general sentiment. I think this is one of the worst events I've seen. There are NO NEW cards (i.e. no new event cards) to earn. Last Halloween you could earn the white witch and/or the black witch. How awesome were those cards. This year - no new cards. (I don't consider new 'skins' on existing cards to be introducing new cards.)
So this year is an opportunity to get cards from the regular set and one gold event card up for auction every 8 hours. If you're going to have event cards up for auction, they should put up a gold, silver, AND bronze event card with every 8 hour auction set. Then you don't have to have THE MOST red ghosts in the entire Eredan Universe in order to get a card since there will be two lower-level options on the board along with each gold-level one. I actually don't like the whole auction format at all. One person gets one copy of each auctioned card in the entire Eredan Universe? How lame. And what happens when someone snipes you on the last auction... poof - all your ghost masks that you spent days slaving over to earn just vanish as the become a worthless currency the day the event ends.
Instead of an auction, they should have a rotating inventory STORE. List their random cards for each ghost mask color but list a SET PRICE for each. Then ANYONE who wants to buy at that price automatically BUYS it, not put in a bid that may or may not get outbid.
The other point I've posted elsewhere for other events, it to create a standard event currency so that at the end of the event if you ALMOST had enough to buy something but didn't quite make it the currency would CARRY OVER to the next event. That way people who worked hard to accumulate event currency don't lose everything if they come up short. They at least get a head start when the next event comes along. This would encourage more people to participate in the event and not give up right from the start because they know they can't commit the time needed to earn that particular events prize threshold.

Legendace wrote:But for now the red masks come very rare. Looks veeeeery difficult to get both Lady Izandra and Chantelein...

Yeah, they have this tendency to do ANDS when they should do ORS. Have a rare card OR require a LOT of a card to get something. Requiring a LOT of RARE cards is annoying. All the prices should just be in 'ghosts' regardless of color. It's dumb to not be able to buy a 333 white ghost card because you have 200 white ghosts and 590 yellow ghosts. Should just make them all different values but usable together. (e.g. a yellow ghost is worth 2 white ghosts, a purple is worth 2 yellow, and a red is worth 5 purple).

I recall how players payed to get the Witches and how insanely broken Black Witch was and STILL kinda is. I'd rather an event with more useful rewards than broken.
As for the masks(Known as tokens from here on), wouldn't mind if they gave out little rewards based on how many tokens you have banked during these kinds of events. But that would probably wreck the whole buying tokens, as if the rewards are better they will sit on them as opposed to using them. I do hate Token based events but having to get so many of the rare ones is just stupid. They should have lowered the amount needed to actually do ANYTHING with them. I JUST got 50 through play, with about 2-3 hours of play per day. Something is wrong here.
This isn't their best event but it's better than some of the others that have come before. And given the history here, I sadly suggest we take the little wins when we can.
