This legendary is a great hand-lock counter xD
Evil is just a point of view.

A side note, a useful one but a sidenote nonetheless...

...Another minor use, Tempus can hope for a heartrending in the 6 and fire it at another target without having to to have draw extra cards start of turn...

...but, really, it's just further redundancy for mages to BS cheat super powered AoE after other side or such.

"Redundancy"... because what happens if in FIVE cards you don't have "other side/spirit boost" + "banner/void/chain/etc" + "AoE"... now you can combo nornally... but a hand that would otherwise have to wait could take the (fairly good) chance that they'll see AoE OR chain/void in the 6.

Would have rather had an Ice elves release. Or even tempus, I really like the Avalonians but other merc castes need some love too. Oh well, good release regardless.

As much as I would have loved to see other updates I find that updating Avalons first was a logical merc choice to do standard, since they only need one character to get into, while Tempus and Ice Elves would need three updates before they are even standard ready, while Avalons only need one. In the next few weeks I wouldn't be surprised if we got a Courtier Mage update, another Crow update, a Tracker Guem, a Tsoutai, a World Tree Mage, Shadow Mages/Warriors, or a Zil Mauraders. For Nehantists I have no idea what their next update will be since it looks like Nehantists had all their different decks updated recently for standard. Noz'dingard could either go Dragon Knight or Noz Blast, since both of them have fallen behind to Witch Blade and Compendium. Pirates and Desert Nomads could possibly be Mechanist and Temple Guardian Priests respectively, but if that was true both castes would need two updates before those decks would be ready for standard, since Balaster is the only Mechanist in standard and Shrikan is the only Temple Guardian Priest in standard. Runic Legion and Stone Linkers are too new for me to even guess though Runic Legion could get another craftsman to make a craftsman Runic Legion deck, but I doubt that will happen.
Ty Boadicea for the awesome farewell gift. Now just to think up an avatar to go with it. Anyway, I'm still a Sap/Nomad/Pirates fan and user.
