the problem is that feerik releases card every week. 7 days is too short for feerik to design cards and to consider its impact on gameplay and as well as the economy/market.
real tcg companies like blizzard and wizards of the coast releases 300 cards on average every 3 months. (which is like 100 card a month, 22 cards a week) but the key is that they spend time play testing the new cards they design before approving it. that way they have less cards to ban.
i understand why feerik cant do this. 3 months is too long for them (business wise). but i would suggest that they design the weekly cards months in advance so they can test it (maybe they are doing it already, fingers crossed).
but to be fair, balancing a tcg is hard. so many considerations have to be made in designing cards and the more cards that are already in the market, the more complicated it is.
SUGGESTIONS:
1. design/test cards with consideration for standard and basic formats. since global format includes all cards, the pro active banning is enough.
2. i also agree in nerfing/changing cards (as a sap player i already accepted the new ourenos). but i definitely think that the old ourenos must be removed completely (changed to the new one by force)
3. stop releasing cards that TRUMPS the present OP cards. it will just make it worse.
4. when it comes to deck strategies for each guild, stick to every guild's specialty (e.g. nomads = healing, nehant = loose life, linkers = magic damage). thank god castes are invented. they are aditional restrictions that can be used in deckbuilding. coz if you give a certain guild or caste the ability to do everything (perma removal, magic, physical, direct damage, healing, attack, def, spirit boost/nerfing, etc) while other guilds/castes are stuck to what they have, its UNBALANCED.
i know business is business. but loosing customers is not good for business... just saying...
