Most bosses have ingrained permanent removal, or (In case of Noz) some sort of damage reduction or healing. The spirit -2 lasts for the turn it's activated only, so, it really doesn't do anything against bosses ._.

its a know bug, when you create a card by the effect of another card in adventure mode if that card deals damage is increase a lot because of that bug

Wow, I guess that's one of the unresolved bugs the open letter addressed...and here I've been fighting the bosses in a legitimate manner (rolls eyes at abusers)
