Just a heads up, if you do the sons of the volcano campaign mission 2 (Pilferess and the 2 Elfines) it gives you 48 or 58 gold. I don't know if it will be the same amount if Scarlet is above lvl 2. I also haven't tried the rest of the missions in this campaign or higher lvl missions in another campaign, so there's probably one the gives more gold. But this is good for getting the first 2 orbs and scroll quickly.

am i the only one haveing trouble with this event ime lvl 16 and currently have next to no good trophy/event cards i currently have 3k crystals and my scarlet deck is: scarlet lvl2, 1 vitality orb, 2 defense orbs, 1 all is fair in love ..., 1 ...and war, 1 apporation, 1 avalovian shield, 1 determination, 2 discretion, 1 hit for hit, 1 in your face, 1 little job, 1 mak dragon jr menu, 1 military stratagy, 1 protect the week, 1 spectoral potion, 1 turture, 1 war axe and 2 wepon dance and i cant even defeat the treasure of zahal last boss :/ help anyone? (sorry for bad spelling wrote this in a rush) i canot pay for anything but i have baught the treasure gem and i also spent money on a vetran pack which gave me a load of crap cards the rare is literaly worth 2k crystals :/

Normally, only at activation time.

Word of advice, pulling a good card on the veteran booster is like the chance you'll live after drinking cyanide.

just tested it out you might be right the variable just increases or decrease but, maybe on the amount of tries to discourage repeating a mission instead of level.
seems to me that you can make 48 and 58 gold and you are right that this might be the easiest mission to do with god gold turn out. I just made 55 from playing it a moment ago.

so i noticed from first looks its very misleading i will not be buying boosters ever again :/

You have better chances with the new comers booster. Since in the veteran booster you have a chance of getting crap rares *angrily stares at Kroub*
