No.
Root is on you and activated before the stone is activated.
The stone does nothing in this context.

Why would Nehants have a stone heart that repulsed magic spells already attached, last I checked they loved attaching spells on themselves and others.
Ty Boadicea for the awesome farewell gift. Now just to think up an avatar to go with it. Anyway, I'm still a Sap/Nomad/Pirates fan and user.
