Yeah, utterly comparable given that it can be played after a spell chain (settlement has to go first, and will often not given a chain AND you can't use your guilds cards the turn after most of the time), lasts an extra turn, can be recycled, and has exactly the same effect most of the time (hint: you can pump your defense above most warriors ability to do relevant damage... relevant here being kill the mage, because otherwise they will win count back)

But the important part is you're so completely clueless as to be unaware of it in the analysis.
