back light: timed out. why?

Recap:

Description:my opponent played and the description was saying to choose exactly 2 cards. I picked 2 cards on my hand and clicked the yellow arrow. They were discarded but the timer kept going and I lost the game. The game didn't inform me if I picked any wrong cards.
