Well.. they are not that bad if you focus on the "Paladin" route using
Paladin's Amulet and
Divine Law/
Paladin's Hammer.
Lady Yilith is the main card to stop any deck that focuses on building up Attack/Defense/Spirit attributes.
However, with the set of cards you have from Advent Calendar, Ice Elves are just mediocre at best. The cards in Advent Calendar focuses on activating Rage Bonus and deals magical and direct damage. You would need additional cards such as
Frozen Spirit and
Inspire Fear to try to reduce your opponent's Spirit for magical damage.
