Exactly Although i do not aggree with some aspects of the release, this one is a good starting point for newbies However, I'm a bit confused about the preco I just realised that a very big part of it is not STD valid :/

Yep, the preco is not Standard legal, and it seems not so easy to find 20 good cards for Mercenaries to play a good Standard deck. Maybe the release should have added a few more of the cards included in the preco. Or some of the other old gildless/mercenary cards. And you pretty much want some holy/damned copies of the rare cards, just to be able to play more of those.

Also they are missing some kind of Dual wield, you want to stack Axes, but the only one you can equip two of is Simple Axe. I can already see Lana and Shana screw themselves by playing Simple Axes or War Axes through their bonus and discarding their equiped Family Axes which are much better.

This deck is trash for standard. You honestly will have a better time making a merc priest deck with or .

Also if you want a cheap deck you could go Avalonian. Oscar, Ysild and Johan/Enguerrand all are very good. Add triumph, Crown, Level Up, and A Just Cause. There you go a really decent deck that can hold its own.

Is it intended for Shana to play War Axe with her bonus, and then discard it because she is no warrior? Shouldn't she not play that card in the first place?
