STORY TIME:


Youssan the peddler had plied his trade for some twenty years, and in that time he had seen almost every part of Guem. His exploits and knowledge were such that that he had earned the nickname – the Voyager. That day Youssan and troop had stationed their wares outside the city of Aman-ra, and the city inhabitants stood marveling at his wares. Negotiations were going well, the merchant himself had joined his servants to promote his goods.
walked the streets of the ancient city of the sun with a strange feeling of déjà vu. She did not know if this was just a feeling or a lost memory. This internal debate was not new to Neythiri – for ten years she had been running after a lost past, what was left of her memories were but crumbs in her mind. She learned long ago not to put much stock in these feelings. Yet as she advanced the feeling grew stronger and more troubling. The center of the market was made in the image of noon day sun, the spreading rays becoming the many alley ways that became the city. Pulled by emotion Neythiri moved from shop to shop, finally stopping at a bench selling a multitude of weapons. Her eyes fell upon a pair of curved daggers.
“They are beautiful are they not?” said the shop keeper,
“Once they belonged to a member of the Eclipse,” he continued in a whisper. Neythiri took one and ran her finger along the blade.
“How much,” she asked
“Oh they are very expensive, can you afford them?” the merchant asked in a slightly condescending tone.
Neythiri threw her purse on the table, and when the merchant loosend the strings he saw coin enough to buy half his stock.
“Shall I gift wrap them for you,” Neythiri paid him no mind but took the blades and walked away without a word.

A few days prior in the city of Thébirak, and the other Desert Nomads spoke of recent events.
“So we have a door to the infinite, half destroyed deep in the desert,” said .
“This is what the scroll from the Netjhim said,” replied .
“I have never heard of a door of the infinite in my time; but he desert is old and its past is still hidden in darkness. We are only now beginning to see the story of the advent pantheon.” Said Nebsen.
“Is that what you see, what can I say to that.” Said Sakina. Nebsen moved to bask in the light, his eyes glowing with power. Sakina stepped towards him cautiously.
“I should not have said that,” said Sakina.
“Nebsen, what do you know,” asked the Vizier.
“He has had a Vision!” said the voice Naptys. Suddenly the Lion headed God was before them. Nebsen became frozen like a statue and began to speak in a strange faraway voice.
“I feel the light flowing in my veins… those that were defeated will return!”
“Who are you talking about?” asked .
“A Breach has been opened, the Scarab god will soon be free of his chains, and he will be accompanied by the servants of Ra. This shall happen in the city of the sun.” continued Nebsen.
“Servants of Ra, the Solarians!” stated Sakina. Just then the halo of light that surrounded Nebsen was gone and his eyes returned to normal.
“What… what just happened,” Nebsen asked of his fellow nomads.
“You just made a prophecy!” Sakina cried
“You must go to the city of the sun,” said Naptys and the deity faded away, so that he might bring this news to the other gods.
“Still… to challenged these gods could be folly, and we do not know where the city of the sun is.” Said Kebek.
“Aman-ra,” Nebsen replied.
“Then we take our business to Aman-ra!” exclaimed Mahamoud.

The Kehper guards were completely surpised by the attack launched against them by the warior in the beetle armor, her rage made her invulnerable. She smashed the chains with all her might and they exploded into a shower of lights.
“Fight until I am free! No blow shall cause you harm !” said Kehper. The Solarians converged to deal with this new threat. Their powers were great and they bombarded Zehanie with burning light. However the attacks were for naught, the armor and blade Zehanie wore held the power of a god, and she was protected. Time was against Zehanie and she moved quickly from chain to chain to free the Beetle god. As Kehper’s power returned Beetles began to appear from the ground, some helped Zehanie with the chains while others swarmed the Solarians. As numerous as they were the beetles were no match for the power of Sol’ra. had personally involved herself in the combat.
“You shall not escape! You are forever our prisoner!” Yelled Djamena. What followed was a titanic battle between two divine forces, the light of the Solarians vs. the black carapace of the Beetle god. As mighty as the two forces were this was the home of the Solarians and the forces of Sol’Ra would have prevailed, if not for the intervention of another force. New Solarians joined the fight, many took on the aspect of those that walked the lands during the war of Guem and Sol’Ra, at their head was the one who had the look of . The New Solarians took their place defending Zehanie and opposing the forces of Djamena. When at last all the chains of Kehper were removed the beetle god took on a more human appearance.
“Come with me those that have assisted in my freedom, a God always repays his debts,” said Kehper, and with that Zehanie and the dissident Solarians disappeared.
The Desert Nomads arrived at Aman-Ra just as the sun was beginning to set. They were not far from the camp of Youssan the traveler, which was now devoid of travelers. Nebsen stopped the caravan and looked to the sky.
“The time is now, I feel that they are close,” he said. In a few moments Kehper and his allies appeared; Nebsen showed no sign of surprise. The Sphinx approached the Beetle god with arms out stretched in friendship.
“Are you here to stop me, Sphinx of Ra?” Kehper asked.
“No, we are here to support you. The world has changed and the time for unity among the gods has come.” Said Nebsen.
“Unity? Change? We come here to go to battle against the children of Sol’Ra!” said Kehper in a tone of exasperation.
“Maybe, but we Solarians here, including myself prefer peace to war. I want Ra to once again become Ra.” Said the sphinx
“This is what we want too,” said Soraya. Then a great discussion began between Nebsen and Kehper. During this time the group of Solarians that had joined Kehper began to disperse, one of which caught Nebsen’s eye. She was a woman in a mask who wore loose royal clothing, knowing something was wrong Nebsen took his leave and followed her.
“I know what you’re feeling,” said Nebsen.
“There is one that lives there, in that camp, she suffers, I would help her” the woman answered
“It is respectful of you; I feel that you also seek forgiveness.” He replied.
“Yes, I do,” said the woman
“Let’s go and see what we can do,”

Neythiri had returned to the camp of Youssan, she had been wandering all day since getting the daggers.
“Your fanally here! Where have you been!” Youssan yelled.
“What are these daggers, where are the provisions?” the merchant continued.
“I do not know, I was in the market and I bought these weapons.” Neythiri answered as if in a dream.
“You did, and how much of my money did you spend!” Youssan asked.
“All of it, I think,” replied Neythiri
“ALL! That was money enough to feed us for two weeks!” screamed Youssan. The merchant lost his temper and with a back handed slap he brought Neythiri to her knees, the blades falling to the ground. Neythiri quick curled into a ball begging for forgiveness. This was not first time she had been beaten by Youssan; but he had never before been this angry.
“Look, now all who serve me, this is what happens when you cause me to lose money, money I earned by the sweat of my brow!” Two servants picked Neythiri from the ground and Youssan loosened the whip he carried at his belt.
“To disobey is to show me disrespect, and disrespect makes me angry!” the merchant said as he pulled back his whip.
“Anger only brings destruction!” said a voice from outside the camp. Youssan turned to see who dared to challenge his authority. He froze when he saw Nebsen and a masked woman beside him. The servants all believing in the divine fell to ground asking for salvation. Youssan, who put his faith in coin did not falter.
“Who am I speaking to?” He asked boldly. Nebsen walked past him to the two men holding Neythiri. They let her go, but Nebsen grabbed her before she hit the ground. Holding her in his large hands he spoke gently.
“You were broken both outside and in, the light of Ra protects you and your wounds will close.” And her wounds did slowly heal, the blue bruse marks faded away, and her lost memories began to return. Neythiri remembered who she was and she knew that the Solarian at Nebsen’s side was a fellow Eclipse.
“I’ll be waiting outside of camp,” said the sphinx walking away.
“Wait you cannot show me this disrespect!” Spat Youssan
“You have no right to inter…” Youssan never finished that sentence, blood spurted from his mouth. Neythiri had planted in his back the two daggers she had bought with the merchant’s money.

I think she did, but death seems to be more of an inconvenience for Solarians

Ra is not evil, but when Ra becomes Sol'Ra and wants to be the Only God, Yes he is evil.

From my understanding it would be because Ra use to be an immortal god like Bastet () or Sobek () and Nebsen just wants to knock Ra back down a peg so he is back with in the pantheon of Gods where he belongs instead of strutting his stuff above it..
