This is part of another thread (Clan vs Clan Tournaments), but I thought it would be meaningful to post here as a standalone suggestion, since it is a valid proposition for all Tournament types.
How to reward playing & risk?
Apply a formula that increases ELO based on the number of games played. Example: Player A ended up with 1400 and played 30 games Player B ended up with 1500 and played 10 games Assuming a hypotetical formula of ELO*(200+Games)/200 Player A ends up with 1400*(200+30)/200 = 1400*1.15 = 1610 Player B ends up with 1500*(200+10)/200 = 1500*1.05 = 1575
The only real consequence of this system is positive: It penalizes Clan Members that avoid fighting as soon as they reach a high ELO.
