This is not a real reason not to play in the tournaments. A lot of people have a mental block where they dont like losing elo points or rank or whatever is relevant. Those people need to get over that. Feerik doesnt need to make a new room simply because you (and by "you" I mean whoever has this issue) dont like seeing a number, that resets in a minimum of a week every week, on your screen go down.

Because my battle logs often look like this after a day of
Standard:
Quercus
Quercus
Level 9 player
Lightning Courts
Elfines
Elfines
Dks
Witchblades
Quercus
Runic Priests

I actually welcome running into immortals and eclipse, because even Immortals with Solaris etc is fairer than elfines.

Amnezy:
Lowbie
Hydra Maen
Elfines
Elfines
Elfines
Pilk blast
Iro
Falling forest Dias

Level rooms:
Boss Kleenex at least 5 times a day
Black Witch
Shui Long
War Guems
Ourenos
Admiral
Lowbie
Lowbie

I don't remember saying that the current bans would be the right ones >.>
A room that doesn't deal with event cards at all is what I'm leaning toward.

No, this issue fro a lot of poeple. If you reach top tier (by luck), you may want to able sustain your position. Your argument is just wrong, because you can mean a lot of poeple. By the way the game is just a a lot of number so those number have real impact.

It seems to me like the least diverse field you faced was the one with the most restrictive ban list.

Also, youre amnezy match ups seem fairly balanced except for the string of flavor of the week you ran into (which is frankly inevitable).

If you want a non-tournament room because you want to win more, meet some like minded people, add to friends list, and go at it with them. I remain utterly unconvinced this suggestion should even be on feerik's radar. There are balance issues with this game, FOR SURE, but another level room with bans is just unnecessary duplicity in this game.

These kind of "OMG WORLD IS ENDING UNLESS FEERIK DOES THIS!" kind of complaints are probably a large reason feerik ignores the good ones that come out from time to time. They are overwhelmed with ideas, most bad, and just assume they know what's best for the game because they dont want to wade through it all.

Im open to changing my mind on this one, but I have heard NO rational and well-thought out reason people cant just play in tournament rooms if they want to play with a ban list. NOTE: (1) "I want to win more" and (2) "I dont want my elo to go down" are not rational well-thought out reasons.

"I got lucky by winning a lot, and now I want to keep playing but not lose" is not an argument I will get behind. I dont support game mechanisms that help people who get LUCKY succeed. I support game mechanisms which provide a good competitive atmosphere, and in which the better player will win most of the time.

This just doesnt make any kind of sense at all.

Having a completely different ban list is, essentially, new format.

This is a different complaint than your previous one. However, I would support it generally because I like more content that adds a new dimension to the game. I wouldnt hold my breath for it though. Feerik probably still feels like they have done a lot for the game recently by adding 2 new formats a few months ago (standard and basic).

The argument was it is you ask it. So I find it not sence. To support your idea you said that the elo score is just number so I replay that number can important. Why does it make any sense.

For the first argument, this is your vision of the elo. Choosing when to play and when not is part of tournment. In a elo the goal is not to be the best overall but to finish with a highter this is the it is program and work. So you cannot see this suggestion is not important because of that.

All of the rooms would have different formats, otherwise there would be no point in them.
Do me a favor, go to the shop, open Basic format, Characters, and look at what each guild has in terms of characters, do this for all of the guilds, if you don't see a problem, feel free to do that for standard.

Not really,Standard: SAP HEARTS, global SAP HEARTS+NONBAN LEGENDARIES

I'll give you an example, in basic, the only characters Zil can use are:The Shadow
Bloodsword, Abyssien the Devourer,The Marquis,Lord Galmara, and The liberated Telendar. Not terrible characters, but little to no useful lineups outside of half-arsed mill.
Pirates: Full Marauder Lineup, including Azalyz , Jon, Hook, Crickets and Narwhal
Noz: 3 Witchblades, including light blow, secret weapon, witchblade armor, RoD

There's no choice, no strategy, just find the best set of characters and spam what they're good at. In standard, it's more of the same, albeit most of the decks cost 2-500k.

The only reason there was variety in standard is because I play in 1-2 game blocks. The people I win against usually don't rejoin the room, and I'm goddamn tired of facing sap hearts all day.(Because 3 characters that can ignore defense and attack twice and has a costs of 2-300k total is obviously a better choice than everything else when you don't have many crystals, and don't want to get slaughtered.)
I don't want to win more, I want to enjoy playing the game, there's a difference.
I'd have gotten Boss Kleenex instead of single, and would have Kept my Witchblades if I just wanted to see WIN at the end of every match.

According to Shalizar. Zil are one of the 3 guild with there that can top (with noz, nehant), you they are not the one to be complain about. The other three guild need more love.
Ps: price are set by players, so this deck deck is coslty because it work.

Ok, youre bringing up a slightly different issue here, but I think it undergirds your main argument so Ill address it.

1) Basic was done poorly. Feerik screwed the pooch on it. End of story on that format.

2)Standard was not done poorly. The metagame for standard isnt great now, but it will actually go along way towards balancing the game. It gives feerik an out to not just release cards that are better than all the other cards to get people to buy them. Now, feerik can release cards similar (or lower) to the power level of cards that have rotated out of standard, and people will still want to buy cards to play standard. This is a lesson well learned from magic.

I agree, Standard is not the most balanced and diverse format. I actually do, however, think it is pretty decent right now, and I do enjoy it. That aside, give feerik a little time to work out standard's kinks. Its probably the best improvement this game has seen in a while. If feerik implements it properly, it could go a long way in resolving a lot of existing balance issues.

I repeat, and in sum, standard isnt perfect now, but it was just released, so give feerik some time to let it realize the format's potential. It has great potential to solve many balance issues.
