Well I stand uncorrected. It is impossible to have all the cards for free(or you're a hell of a farmer...). However two objects can be obtained fairly easily...
Lucyan is an interesting card only if you have the potential to build a deck around him.
And that will need a lot of event/legendary and rare expensive cards...!
The sword is a really good card in any warrior deck...

I'm very curious about this Lucyan deck. I'm struggling to think about cards that are chainable to go with him (except for and combo).

well, obvious combo with multiclassed mage is champion's aura/eredan's wisdom+/
But since he's a priest, you can also try champ's aura+
Tornado to get rid of annoying cards and kill out of combat(door to infinity is good too...). And of course b2c to go grab cool spells
The sword looks like a really good adition to the set and the hood can be a good idea.

Since it can be pretty weak against mage, a mental prison can be a nice addition...(but then you'll need some card to chain&punch)

Yes, the sword is good and the spaulder is decent.
However, using Lucyan is something many lower-level players would do, since he's so versatile. The people that can reasonably expect to even have a chance of farming/buying him have no use for him, except as a novelty gimmick.

He'll be another useless event character.

And an event that gives it's rewards only to those that wont use it with trophies made to be not completed is just shit. Over the last 2 days eight different, spending people I chatted with told me they're starting to hate the game, because of the event.

My issue is not "I want everything for free, and a pony too!" but "The game is made actively less enjoyable for most players by an event which is designed to be not participated in". Feerik is falling more and more into the idiotic position of making the game worse, because people might otherwise get fun for free, instead of making the game one people want to spend money on, because it's enjoyable.

last "useless" event character was kleenex. I builded a deck around him that has about 80% win in normal room. However event characters are merc which means they can only play non guilded cards. And the good unafilliated cards are either really expensive, or event cards...
And many "old players" like to have some decks that are not overkill. They are challenging to build and fun to play.

Lucyan may be versatile and able to do alot of things, but for new players without the proper cards, he'll just be weak...
