Wait, what did Keizan have to sacrifice to become the World Tree? I mean seriously being able to produce offspring as well as having powerful magical spells that can open doors to an alternate world seems like it got the good end of that deal.

Trees just stand on where they were planted, granted his a talking tree with magic powers though.

Kei'zan merged with the last seed of the first World-tree.
He became, in the process, the new World-Tree and now he is a tree. With the mobility of a tree....

He can't really cast either, since he's a tree, and which is probably why most of the sap hearts stay in close proximity to him unless absolutely necessary, because...you know...idiots with axes.

Actually, he can cast spells if you have been keeping up with the story you would know that World Tree Keizan cast the spell for Mellisandre's amulet that she used to destroy the dragon/nehant beast and save Kounok's life in as well as cast a spell simultaneously with the mages of the Stone Linkers and Ciramor in to open the Door to Infinity.

So his still a tree on the present eredan timeline.
