is perfect for Corruption Mages (remember the effect is permanent until Decomposition is removed). So each turn, the character will have -1 Attack or -1 Spirit + -1 Defense.
Wouldn't that just make it a weaker version of on even turns and a on odd turns

a. avalonian
b. nehant warrior
anyway, nobody ever sees these things coming. got omgwtfbbq when my guildies mentioned that the new sap char can turn into a nehant one.
And I think the mystery sword-wielding-guy/girl would have been a Runic Legion human seeing as this weeks trophy seems to have the Runic Legion fighting the Empress Troops. This was probably the best update they could have think of when they had realised that Stonelinkers are out of the newcomers booster and the Nehantists will be losing their spot in the newcomers booster next week.
Though why they didn't do a Runic Legion Human/Nehant warrior update instead of a World-Tree Mage/Nehant Corruption/Earth-Water stonelinkers update is beyond me... well, unless its because there is currently already 4 Runic Legions character cards in the Newcomers and they decided to push it off a few weeks till the priests drain out.
PS. I just realised how badly Noz, Stonelinkers, Zil, and the mercenaries are under represented right now in the booster pack. I get Noz's Dragon Knights and Blast are up there tier wise right now and their is a question mark of when Stonelinkers should get new cards since they were just recently founded and are going through the Runics Growing pains, but no new Zil character cards since ? Did I miss the memo where Zil is a perfectly balanced guild character wise?
Ty Boadicea for the awesome farewell gift. Now just to think up an avatar to go with it. Anyway, I'm still a Sap/Nomad/Pirates fan and user.
