I thought it was just me but did they remove the foil animation when they changed the card designs? Just got curious since it was one of the things that got me hooked when I first played Eredan. Having that shiny foil animation just made things more appealing to me.

You have an option to enable or disable the foil effect.
But since August 2012, the foil effect on actions and theurgies have been changed.
The cards show now the correct colors.

Thanks for your reply Zurga. So yeah, tried to disable/enable the foil effect for ten times just to be sure, but the foil animations do not happen anymore. Well, not like how the previous foil animation was, if there is still a foil animation.

They removed the rainbow color art background? Was it because it was having issues when characters used transforming cards like Amnezy's Pints or like that?

Now, foil cards are just gold bordered cards, like how Mythical cards have a parchment kind of thing for a border, or a Legendary having a white border. The animation effects for all foil cards are gone, whether it be characters, actions, theurgies, etc.
