Necrotic Armor and Defense = x

There is a card in game called Necrotic Armor. Necrotic Armor says that it prevents any further attack or defense penalties.

Why is a card that says defense = X not considered a penalty card, especially when the card is Defense = 0. There is no circumstance where that card is not a defense penalty.

The problem with cards like Defense = 0 is that it makes armor basically null. The only good cards are ones with health 18. Lower health cards with high armor aren't viable. You can kill them in one turn with any high end card. However, as a counter things like Necrotic Armor should work. It prevents me from wearing any other "Item: Armor" card so I do take a defense penalty to ensure that I can't lose any more defense. I can also still be hit really hard with magic.

Please fix this card.

a stat penalty is the one wich says "Stat -X"

this is an equalization "Stat = X"

can you see the difference?

if you want to avoid the enemy magic attack, or distracted or whatever, use crown of the border

I can see the difference, but I think the difference is semantics. A _______ = 0 card is a penalty card with a different name. I'm disagreeing with the intended design.

However, I do appreciate very much your direction to the Crown of the Boarder. Thank you, it was just what I was looking for.

if the character have defense 0, then playing obesity the = 2 is a bonus, but isnot the case
