Card release: Nashi's sacred writings

New cards have been released on Eredan iTCG:

. Uncommon. Scroll. Kotoba. Chasseur de Démons. This card is attached to the opposing character. +1 to damage points suffered. Duration: 2 Fights. Sacrifice 2: +3 to damage points suffered and Duration +3 additional fights. Chain Spell.

. Uncommon. Time. Mage. Tempus. If you have less than 4 cards in Hand: at the end of the turn, the turn counter advances from 3 to 4 additional turns. Otherwise, choose an opposing character, he suffers X magic damage points (maximum 12) where X equals the current turn number +2 and 4 cards from your Hand are discarded.

. Common. Action. Kotoba. Crow: Attack +2 until the end of the Turn. Demon Hunter: Spirit +2 until the end of the Turn. Attaches to the opposing character. The owner's cards Spirit or Defense characteristics cannot be modified. Duration: 2 fights. Chain.

. Common. Action. Kotoba. Attack +1 and Spirit +1. An additional Attack +2 and Spirit +1 if the opposing character is Noz. Chain Kotoba card.

. Common. Action. Mercenaries. Heals 3 to 4 Health points. 3 cards from your Discard pile are placed in your Deck. Chain.

These cards are now available in the Newcomers Booster.

This week we will start with the modifications of older cards to update them a little and we seize this opportunity to reedit them so that they will be playable in the standard format again.

- "" now gives Spirit +1 and an additional Spirit +1 if the opposing character is Noz. We also added Chain to Kotoba cards.
- "" now gives Spirit +2 (instead of +1) for Demon Hunters
- "" now heals 3 to 4 health points instead of 2 and places 3 cards from the discard pile back into your deck.
- "" advances the counter now 3 to 4 turns instead of 2 to 3.

Furthermore, we changed Althing and Thunderstroke as follows:

- is now removed from the game after the effect has been activated.
- lasts now 2 turns (instead of 3) and deals 2 magic damage points when a lightning spell is activated (instead of 2 to 4).

Enjoy the game!

No no that card was bullshit esp in Pirate Mages. And this is coming from someone who loves Mages.

now is useless, compare the deck (without izandra) with another mages

against high spirit decks, thunderstroke was the only choice (they dont have big nukes)

against healers/high hp decks, again thunderstroke was the answer (they dont have big nukes)

yeah, thunderstroke was op, but now is trash

this card helps a lot against hard to beat decks, maybe this is a little hard to understand, but imagine if sap elfines couldnt reduce defense right now, same with sentence against priest

i suffered only 1 nerf since eredan started (tempus), i just forget about that and move on

but they keep killing cards/decks, and that is not good

thunderstroke could be fixed, not killed, but nobody cares because they dont want to lose anymore, we just want the cards that beat us away, again, thunderstroke was op indeed, but bad nerfs dont help

same happened with put up job, they could fix the card, but again no, same with fatal countdown & brothers in arms

they killed one of the best cards of the classic lightning, hope they do the same with noz mages now, and with settlement and company

From what I can understand, they only nerf the duration and damage. To be honest, that is a decent nerf. 3 turns are far too long and the damage is pittance to begin with originally (4-6) (unless boosted by other +spell damage cards).

Now, they should consider nerfing :P

I agree with Magius.
The main change is the duration, which does not matter, if the charakter dies on the following turn.
And the damage reduction is just 1 on average per lightning spell.
